Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment: Which do you prefer?
Hello Lover! Welcome to Carrie’s old apartment. A one bedroom apartment in the Upper East Side. Considering that the majority of New York lives in apartments the size of tiny shoe boxes this one is not that bad, and fairly believable. What I love about this apartment is that its style in no way, shape, or form represents her fashion style. It is quite the opposite of how you would expect her to decorate it. I love the old vintage feel of the space. The designers of the set said they bought items that you would find at a flea market.
Carrie obviously has plenty of ‘things’ around her apartment: books, magazines, candles, vases, small tables and chairs, and other trinkets.
The designers purposely created cracks and faults in the structure of the apartment to make it more realistic!

I like her first one because it looks more home-y. Though I do love the new walls. So maybe I would take the new wall color and everything else from her old apartment.

BUT I do have the sex and the city kiss and tell book and the new SATC movie book. Lots of pictures and information about the set/props. I’ll have a look through them both for you have maybe they will say where it’s from!

I adore the carpet in the new bedroom. And you are right, the new color of the walls is so gorgeous. What interesting information about the sets. Wouldn’t buy the book but I’m happy to know all the lengths they go to.

I like them both, but I like the energy of the old bedroom more… and definitely appreciate the contrast of the ‘inner’ Carrie to the Carrie we seen outside of her home all decked out. I actually love love the color of her old bedroom. I can’t tell if its a greyish greenish bluish silver?? Can anyone help with this. I am actually looking to find out so that I might consider it a viable option for my bedroom.

I love all of these pictures. They did such a nice job with the design of Carrie’s apartment, that it looks like such a completely comfortable place to live.

the shower curtain is definitely from bed, bath, and beyond. i purchased there for 19.99 plus tax. there are two: one is called the pebbles curtain, and the other is called beads. i found the beads one to be morew like carrie’s and gave off that confetti-iridescence look… if you get a clear liner that’s for “mold free”, the colors exuberate more! hope this helps…
