For the past few years I have spent Easter weekend with my friend Jill and her family in Colorado. The weather was always beautiful and our day was full of activities from painting eggs to going on long walks. This year I am in London and normally the weather starts to warm up by now, not this Easter… I woke up to snow and hail.
I want this winter weather to be over with already especially since I have been looking forward to the spring. I even put away my winter wardrobe which I had to get back out this weekend. Luckily it is fairly sunny out today, maybe the weather will turn soon!
This past Spring-Summer collection from Chanel was full of stars and stripes showing a more more casual side to the label. Now Karl Lagerfeld has returned to creating classic Chanel looks for the A/W 08-09 collection. The collection displayed plenty of lace & sheer fabrics, quilted handbags, and their signature tweed suits.
Gorgeous detail shots by the talented Amando Grillo for VOGUE. Once again I have to say that I love the tights and Mary Jane’s.
As Amy Winehouse not so ‘clearly’ stated at the Grammys, ‘Camden Town Ain’t Burning Down!’
For those of you who do not live in the UK may not know that there was a fairly large fire on the evening of the 9th in Camden. Neal and I saw it as it just happened from a distance in Primrose hill as we were walking to a grocery store. A few days ago I walked into Camden to see the damage and took some pictures.
First I wanted to post this youtube video to show you what went on.
Click here for the Camden Council’s media information on the fire.
I’ve been meaning to put these pictures up for weeks! These Audrey Hepburn canvas’ were part of my Christmas gift this year. I absolutely love them and I had been wanting one for a while. Now…I have three!
With New York fashion week over with, it’s London’s turn. From the 10th-15th it is London Fashion Week. I will post new pictures as they arrive from the runway shows! For now, you can look at the schedule to see what is coming up!
