Two nights ago Neal and I watched Paul McCartney’s concert in Liverpool on TV and I was very impressed. Sir Paul put on a great show: he sounded great, played all sorts of instruments, and danced (adorable and a good effort). He even cracked a few jokes that I normally wouldn’t find particularly funny, but hearing them come out of his mouth just made my night.
Yesterday I got to thinking about his new album and how I saw a commercial for it a while back. The commercial showed the music video for what I guess was his first single. The entire video is of him dancing and singing. Well, after watching the concert and seeing him dance live, I just had to youtube that music video I saw. I must say, for a 65 year old man, he’s got the moves!
Every day I take a look at style.com. They have a daily poll called the ‘Look of the day’. It’s a fun little feature on their site and you get to see and vote for many beautiful outfits. Once you cast your vote you can click to view the results.
Usually I cannot stand Angelina Jolie mostly because she stole Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston and I have yet to forgive her, but I must admit she looks gorgeous here. Green is my favorite color, whether it’s to look at or wear myself…I call it my happy color.
This picture is from the Cannes Film Festival where she was promoting her new film with Jack Black called Kung Fu Panda. AND apparently she is expecting twin girls.
I could only hope to look that good when I am pregnant.
Who said modeling was an easy job?! Those heels designers make models walk down the runway in are so high they should be illegal! I don’t know how many times I have watched this, but it makes me nervous every time.
Need to clear something up! (Mostly for my Mom, but for those of you who may have the same question)
This is how our conversation over the phone actually went last night.
Mom: Sweetie, why do you only have 5 readers…I thought you were doing so well?
Me: Huh? No no no…that box tells me how many people have subscribed to the website. Like, they get emails and notifications when I update posts.
Mom: Oh, well that’s nice sweetie.
Makes me laugh…(She was refering to that small blue box in the banner at the top. So no mother, I do not just have 5 readers in total I actually have thousands, but only 5 of them have subscribed.)
So please subscribe! Especially if you like the website and especially now that I know it would mean a lot to my Mom. :)
Britt here… Just wanted to let you know that we are working on changing the layout of the website. Trying to create something less high-maintenance so I can post more often. A lot has happened recently and I can’t wait to share my stories and photos with you!
